K 2013 International Trade Fair Plastics & Rubber have been ended on October 23th.For more than 40 years, K has been and still is the biggest international trade fair for plastics and rubber, and takes place once every three years.
Exhibitor area change reflects the characteristics of the market trend . K 2010 from the beginning of the exhibitors from Asia showed strong growth. Net exhibition area from Asia ‘s largest five countries / regions – China , Taiwan, India , South Korea and Japan grew by a total area of about 1/ 3 , from 18,000 in 2010 to grow to 25,000 square meters. U.S. exhibitors after recovery from the financial crisis showed strong growth , with an area of 4402 square meters by the last term extended to 5300 meters. Plastics industry is the rapid development of the Turkish percent from last year about 1,000 square Mida about 4,000 square meters .
In the October 23 press conference announced the number of concept development has exceeded the original estimated 200,000 people. 218,000 trade visitors to K 2013 came from well over 120 countries. Of which 58% ( 126,000 people ) from countries outside Germany . Most overseas from Asia . From Southeast Asia and Central Asia are close to 30,000 visitors . View from the United States and Canada show the number of 8,100 , far exceeding the 1,300 pre-registered visitors . Number of concept development from Latin America was 11,000 , and in 2010 is basically the same .
Another gratifying increase was also noted in the number of visitors from South Africa with some 2,000 hailing from there.
The visitors from neighbouring European countries the Netherlands dominated with 8,000 visitors followed by France, Belgium, Great Britain and Italy. There was also a noticeable rise in interest from Poland, the Czech Republic and Hungary. With many employees the company no longer come to the exhibition , nearly 1/ 3 is upper management personnel , accompanied by top technical experts, who have the purchasing decision.
The next K Düsseldorf will be held from 19 to 26 October 2016.
